Still working on getting a permit

We received the two used golf carts that we purchased to aid in helping people to get from the parking lot to the building.

Received proposal for security items and changes needed with the addition of the South door and the new location of the North door. When the doors are installed we will be able to make both of them part of the door access system.

We also received this week the proposal for the seating in the looking glass theater. Higher then we projected for seating cost and may need to look for other options.

We were finally able to meet with the people in the city zoning department to get and understand of the zoning issue comments. We had been told and were getting ready to apply for a BZA hearing which would have delayed our construction. We meet on Thursday with Jomy John, Rod Leinen and Syrus Kalantar. The meeting started out bad and looked like we were domed to take it to the BZA but Syrus ask how Rod Leinen had calculated the height of the building that he had declared as being over the maximum height for the zoning. Syrus then proceed to measure and average all sides and showed Rod his error in that it is all to be averages and the need for the BZA was declared as not need. What a big relief! Today we should be hearing about all the other revised issues to see if a permit will be issued.

Today we also issued a easement to the city for five feet along 55th street for a sidewalk easement.
