Dealing with City and paper work

This week the details about the fire alarm system has been resolved in that Westhues is going to have KCFS to do the work and they revised their proposal to include the missing magnetic door hold open devices but kept the same total cost.
The team finished their response to the city and I believe that will be delivered to the city today. The only item that is not totally resolved is the height of the building. This is a zoning issue and if a meeting with the Zoning Department does not resolve the issue we may be force into a BZA requirement. This could delay the project by maybe months.
The Civil engineer finished the alta survey that was required by the bank and title company. This will aid in getting the final details of the title and appraisal work complete. The hope was that we could complete this and close on the loan this week but it looks like that will be next week.
The KCBT board meet on Monday night and approved the signing of the contract with Pearce Construction, special inspection firm (Terracon). Approved the signing of other contract amounts for Wacky World, Stark Raving, title work, and appraisal fees.
