This week was also a week of getting ready. I had meetings with the KCP&L people to discuss the method of getting power into the new facility and relocating the power pole at the back of the parking lots along 55th street at the location of the new driveway that connects with 55th street. Now we have the paper work in process to make those changes. Also the order was placed to add a new dust to dawn light fixture at the corner of 55th and Blue Ridge Cutoff as we are going to use that corner much more during the construction.
The MGE gas people have also been out to look at our current service and let me know what the plumbers will need to do or take into account.
This week was also the dead line to get the changes done from all the comments last week. On Monday a new set of drawings and specs will be produced and the reviews start again as we get ready to start the bidding which we are to have a pre-bid meeting on Feb 12 here at the church. At that point a set of drawing will be submitted to the city for permitting.
