This week I want to do an entry on BEFORE: Back in 1993-1994 we constructed the West side including the foyer section of the current building. Now we are planning on doing totally away with all the doors and windows on the west side with this new addition.
Need to take a good look at the picture as this will all be different when the contraction starts happening.
The foyer doors and counters will all be different in a short amount of time.
The counter will be replace with a wall and new doors entering into the new foyer that is part of the children’s wing.
The book store will be back in a larger formatted space, the tables and chairs will be gone but a new sitting area by the café is going to be added. I don’t think anyone will miss the moving closet that we called and elevator. The new addition will have a 1st class elevator to take people up to the next floor.
Marco Castro is already crying the blues that he will be losing the windows in his office, as the windows will be taken out and hard sheetrock walls will be put in their place.
The watering station will go away and will be replaced with a café that will serve the real thing.
We will be putting a set of doors through this wall with a set of stairs to get into the new expanded book store.
The drain pipe that keeps the South driveway wet year round will be removed and any water on this side will be piped in to a storm drain and run under ground all the way to the corner.
The office entry will be move around to the North wall in the location of the down spouts and the old entry will be enclosed in the new addition. Hopefully we will be able to keep the small tree that we planted after the last Summit.
By the way Jeff Adams window will remain just as it is and he can rub it in with Marco and his lose.
Temple Heights will loose their ability to drive in front of our building as they make their way to the front of their building.
