Still waiting on City Hall

Well, we did not get started putting shovels in the ground but it was fairly busy week. Besides the meetings on Monday, I signed a proposal for SEI to provide the connections for the North and South doors into our door access system. Tuesday was the day that Skyler contacted Gary Marker at the city codes administration regarding the comments with the hand rails on the stairs and he agreed with our interpretation of the code that no intermediate handrail would be required, another one for our team. I also order the equipment for the construction cameras, and meet with a telephone system vendor to talk about our needs to migrate our current equipment into an updated system to handle the expansion and allow for a campus wide network. Wednesday was the day for the resubmital of the fourth revision to the plans in trying to get a permit. We also scheduled our first construction meeting for next Thursday. On Thursday we meet with the department at city hall for special inspection and had our required meeting. Pearce was also able to pull the Land Disturbance Permit. I called KCP&L and MGE about the status of the utility relocations and should be getting call backs. Friday should be the day for me to get my copies of the revisions that were submitted to the city on Wednesday. Also we should be hearing from the city about our permit review.
