If you look close in the center of the picture is a black pipe. This is the 4" gas line for MGE and is in the wrong place and has been holding up the installation of a sidewalk along the North side of 55th street. The gas line is not in the public right-a-way but is on church property. We have decided to put the sidewalk over the gasline line. Maybe some day in the future MGE will move their gas line out into the right-a-way.
