City Comments

This week we also meet as a group to discuss the comments from the city in the area of plan review. This resulted in the meeting in the previous blog posting. During this meeting we discussed a second exit out of the second floor to the west. The issue was that one third of the people from the second floor would need to exit through the current building which does not have sprinklers and the distance would be to great. Skyler is to add this to the plans. The height of the building and the center hand rail on the stairs is an area that Skyler is going to take up with the director of codes, Gary Marker, to see what can be done short of going through the BZA for a zone adjustment for the height of the building.
